Medical Education
Dr. Friedman attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and received his BA
Degree in Biology. He then received his MD degree from Northwestern Medical School in
Chicago, Illinois. Internship was performed at U.S. Naval Hospital, Great Lakes, Illinois.
Dr. Friedman then served in the US Navy on active duty in California and Hawaii. He was
the medical officer on the USS Isle Royale and a general medical officer at Los Alamitos
Naval Air Station. He had attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander before starting his
residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center Torrance
California.
Dr. Friedman practiced at Kaiser Hospital in
Bellflower, California before starting his private practice in Torrance in 1981. He has been
at the present location practicing with Dr. Bassin since 1991 and practices Obstetrics and
Gynecology. |
